Hosted once every month during term time, from 6pm-midnight, Ballie Ballerson hosts Glow, the bangingest student night in London. We guarantee you’re going to remember more about these six wonderful hours of partying than you ever will about fractions or Shakespeare or whatever it is you’re actually supposed to studying at Uni.
Our DJs will be pumping out a variety of cool pop, R&B, house and disco, the unique ball pits will be waiting for you, and you won’t need a degree to work out what amazing value we have on offer. Admission price is just £1, single spirits and mixers are from £2.50, beers from £2.50, vodka Red Bull at £3.50 and a 175ml glass of wine at £4.
There’s a great party vibe all night long, and all our food and cocktails are available to purchase if you want to give your tastebuds an education.
The waviest night out ever!!!! Came here to celebrate a 21st birthday and it’s a great place to have a quirky night out with your friends!
I came here on a date after reading the reviews and it really is as fun as it looks. Have the salt bae cocktail as it burns marshmallows.
Loved it! Wasn’t sure what to expect but was great fun. Even just to go for a drink is amazing as it’s such a fun bar. And free face painting – what more could you want!
Frequently Asked Questions
I have a friend who isn’t a student, can they come?
This night is for students only so all guests will be required to show a valid form of photo student id.
Are there tickets on the night?
Our student nights are super popular and we list all of our tickets in advance online. We may have some on the door if we have no shows so you are welcome to swing by if we are sold out but there are no guarantees 🙂
Can I get a refund or move my date?
Please see our refund policy for all ticket types here.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Despite having three ball pits, we are an 18+ venue and ID will be checked (valid passport or driving licence accepted). No ID, no entry otherwise we will get in trouble. Ta!
Are drinks allowed in the ball pit?
No – we trialled it in the soft launch and all we can say is no, no, no and no.
What shoes must I wear in the ball pit?
Any shoes are totally fine for the bar and VIP area (although trainers with sportswear is not acceptable) but in the ball pit all guests must have closed toe shoes on. High heels of any kind are very treacherous and therefore not allowed – we don’t want anyone to be falling flat on their face. We would strongly suggest trainers/flats with a low block heel being the highest heel height permitted into the pit. On our FAQs page there is a full guide to footwear.
What is the dress code?
We are a fun and unpretentious Shoreditch club so dress to impress Shoreditch style whilst still having the right shoes for the ball pit. Short skirts and dresses can be a bit risqué for the ball pit but totally your choice. Your body your rules 🙂
